I've been thinking lately about all of the praying I do for others, a lot of times for people I don't even know personally. I realized that I too often end up praying more for these folks than I do for the people I DO know and love...especially my children. Below is a list of specifics that I plan to pray for my children daily.
PRAY...
1. That they will know Christ as Savior early in life. (Psalm 6:3 and 2Timothy 3:15)
2. That they will be protected from the evil one in each area of their lives...spiritual,emotional, and physical. (John 12:15)
3. That they will have a responsible attitude in all their interpersonal relationships.(Daniel 6:3)
4. That they will respect those in authority over them. (Romans 13:1)
5. That they will desire the right kinds of friends and be protected from the wrong friends. (Proverbs 1:10-11)
6. That they will be kept from the wrong mate and saved for the right one.( 2 Corinthians 6: 14-17)
7. That they will learn to totally submit to God and actively resist Satan in all circumstances. (James 4:7)
8. That they will be single-hearted, willing to be sold out to Jesus Christ.(Romands 12: 1-2 )
9. That they will be hedged-in so they cannot find their way to wrong people or
that the wrong people cannot find their way to them. (Hosea 2:6)
10. Lastly, but very important, that they will have a hunger to know God and His Word!
I can't take credit for this list - I found it on another blogger's page. She's a new grandma to baby Harper and a pastor's wife, bless her!

Do I dare say it?
For fear of jinxing myself, I will not tell you that Natalie slept through the night last night. (YES!!)

Finally!
Ya know, I realized as I was putting some of our pictures on here that we didn't get any pics of us snorkeling, sea kayaking, taking the chinese dragon boat out to the Thai Island, and (sniff, sniff) no pictures of me experiencing scuba for the first time. Bummer!
