Spring is here...to stay?

It's finally starting to warm up around here! The grass is turning green, leaves are sprouting and flowers are starting to pop up. We've been playing at the parks and can't wait to get the boat out soon. I heard the U.P. got 15 inches of snow a few days ago. How depressing. After living through 6 months of cold up there, I'd be devastated if I still had to look at snow in April. One of the reasons I have no desire to move back there!

Someone got a haircut!

I took Natalie to the salon almost 2 weeks ago to get this cute haircut:



This was Natalie's 1st official haircut! I've trimmed her bangs a few times, but I've never touched the back of it. It was starting to get really long! She freaked out when I tried to sit her in the chair so I ended up holding her the entire time which means no pictures. That also means that we both left there covered in hair...even the sucker that the stylist gave her was full of hair. So gross, but she didn't care. I just love her new little bob. It looks even cuter with a big 'ol bow so I'll have to take some more pictures to share. These pictures were taken on the day she got her new haircut.

And this picture was taken in our hotel room in Madison, WI while we were there visiting family for Easter. We were all snuggling in the bed, eating popcorn and watching a movie.

Hey, stranger!

So, it's been a long time. I realize you may have stopped checking here for new posts and pictures - I don't blame you! Truth be told, since I made this a private blog and I have a whopping 2 or 3 readers, there isn't a lot of motivation to keep it up to date. I'm just sayin'.

We're putting our house up for sale this week so I shouldn't even be on this computer right now. Lots to do. We've done A LOT to the house already to prepare it - most of which should have been done years ago so that we could enjoy it for awhile (nice living room shades and curtains, anyone?!). I'm comforted by the fact that our fate rests in God's hands and he knows where we should be. I have, however, driven past our not-quite-ours-yet-yes-I'm-stalking-it house a number of times!  So, if you can throw up a prayer or two for us that our home will sell quickly and for a very good price I would be forever grateful!

Oh - and before I forget, I wanted to jot down a few of Natalie's words. This is mostly for me so that I won't forget later. The girl still doesn't have a baby book that I can write these in. Shame on me!
