First trip of 2013

On January 1st we loaded up the car and drove south to Switzerland for Alps skiing and waterpark fun.  I cannot get over the beauty of the Alps - they are something special that I will forever be grateful to have seen.

One Year!

January 4th marked the one year anniversary of our move to Düsseldorf!

(The kids and I, that is.  Chad's one year mark was back in November.)

Wow - we did it!  We survived our first year in Germany.  Here's to happy times during the remainder of our stay here...Prost!
