Christmas Markets at School

Each year the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classrooms each host a booth for the ISD Christmas market.  The students craft the items, decorate the booth, and are in charge of sales that day.

A couple of pics to remember the day...

She'll cry if she wants to...

I'm starting a new series called 'Oh, the places you cried' - featuring our dear Sofia.  Every time I look back on vacation pictures she's in at least a handful of them unhappy, crying and just plain mad to be there.  Oh, Sofia - we love you anyway!  :)

Everyone's having fun on the boat.  Not Sofia!

Strange Eats, part 1

Thought I'd start documenting my interesting finds at the market.  There are plenty!

First up - Pizza.  Nothing strange about pizza, right?  Except when you put odd things on top of it...

On the left, Pizza with Tuna Fish.  On the right, Pizza with pasta.

Pizza with Salmon and Spinach

Kaninchen mit kopf.  Translation = Rabbit with head.  I am still grossed out about it.  Who needs the head?
