Grateful!

Lots of neat stuff happening here in Lake Elmo! We're finally under contract with buyers for our home (praise God!). They need to sell their home now and then we can add 'SOLD' to the for sale sign in our front yard. I can't wait to see that, but even more satisfying will be seeing 'SOLD' on the sign for our new home. We've had our eyes on 344 Southern Pacific since winter of 2008. To finally walk thru it's front door and have it be ours will be a surreal feeling. It's in God's hands though, so I've been at peace about everything and very content with the idea of not moving at all. I will definitely miss this little home if/when we hand over the keys to a new owner.

See this beauty? Now imagine her in red (technically, it's inferno red crystal pearlcoat. let's just go with red, m'kay?). She's (he's??) going to be joining us tomorrow! I know Chad's heart is skipping beats at the thought of finally owning a truck. Problem is, are trucks supposed to be this nice? I thought they were supposed to be able to get dirty and drive through mud & muck. Ya know, throw some junk in the back and not worry about what it looks like.
He looked at so many different makes and models and called me today with such a cute spark in his voice about this particular one. The good wife that I am, I headed straight over there and gave my approval. Although, when asked if I wanted to take it for a drive, I declined. It's huge!

Baby girl is sleeping like a champ, Mason has a buddy here for a week or two, Grandma Mary is coming for a visit tomorrow, boating with the girls on Sunday...lots to be grateful for!
